Catch Up!

So much has happened in the last week that I haven't had a chance to blog about it!

Last Friday afternoon, Brian, Kaelynn and Blake were born.  They're all looking great and are progressing very well.  They should be moved into the special care unit soon and then...home!

Ben and Abby have been up at the ranch going to VBS.  Duke, Audie and I drove up there this Friday evening to see their 'finale' program.

While we were at the ranch, Audrey got to swim in a real pool for the first time.  It was pretty windy outside and chilly in the pool, so she didn't stay out too long.

Lil A (the donkey), Virgil (the horse) and Lil Bit (the miniature horse)
all lined up against the barn to stay out of the wind
Of course, Abby didn't miss this opportunity to swim!  She has become my little fish - she LOVES to be in the water.  She would spend all day in the pool if we let her.  She doesn't care how cold it is - she wants to swim!

Ben stayed close to Audrey...and Grandad.

Ben showed us his new "trick".  He would ride all the way down the big hill the house sits on then all the way around the pool.  Another "hold your breath" moment for Momma and Grandma Vicki.

While they were gone, Duke and I got to spend all of our time with Audrey (and each other)!
It was great to have a little break, but its always wonderful to get them back!

Cheer Camp!

Today was Abby's last day of cheer camp.  There are 15 junior cheerleaders this year at Fulton!  That's three times as many as we had last year.
It's really cute to watch them.  They have several cheers and stunts...
...and even a dance routine!
I'm so proud of that girl.  She never ceases to amaze me!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get to the hospital.  I'm getting a new niece and 2 new nephews today...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!   :-)  :-)  :-)

It's HOT out there!

Summer is definitely in full swing and the kids are finding several ways to occupy their time.
Ben has started doing stunts on his bike.
No worries, he wears a helmet and pads now anytime he gets on that bike of his!  Boys!

Audrey has started 'working out'.  She grunts now when she has tummy time - its like she's doing push ups.  It's so cute.  I keep thinking she's going to start crying, but then she keeps grunting.  She seems to be focused - ready to start crawling any time!
Audrey has also recently started to enjoy fruit.  We love her little mesh feeder.  It lets her get the juice without the worry that she might bite off a chunk of the cantalope.
Of course, it wouldn't be summer without the watermelon!
The kids also had their first double sleepover last night.  What a crazy time that was!
Why, yes, that is Obi Wan in my living room.  And, yes, he is fighting Darth Vader and a stormtrooper to save the planet against evil.  What?

After this picture was taken, they all started playing Marco Polo...in the hot tub.  Fun times.

Dance Camp!

We are already 3 weeks into our summer break and having a blast!!

The kids are settling in to our new 'summer schedule'.
Getting up before 9:00 has been tough...

...at least it is for Ben and Abby.

Audrey always seems to wake up with a smile on her little face.
Abby finished her dance camp this week.  She learned two dances with Mrs. Brown.  They had so much fun all week long!
Mrs. Brown will also be Ben's teacher next year.  I know Ben will LOVE having her as a teacher.  She is AWESOME!!
The girls learned the 5 ballet positions.

Position 1...
Position 2...
Position 3...
Position 4...
Position 5...
Here is her ballet dance:
Here is her 'hip hop' dance:
Audrey also turned 6 months old today.  We are celebrating her 1/2 birthday by trying bananas for the first time.  Hmmmmmm.....
Next week: Cheer Camp!
More pics to come. :)

Audrey's Big Day

Our sweet Audrey was baptized today.  It was a great service, and she did really well.  I was so proud of Ben and Abby, too.  What a great day it was!
Audrey wore the same gown that Abby did, so I am hoping to pass it along to my girls to use when they have girls of their own.  She also wore the same bonnet that Ben and Abby both wore at their baptisms.
*tear
Blurry pic, but the only one I got of her in the bonnet.
Party of five
With her Godparents - Aunt Joan and Grandad
With Meme and Papaw
With Grandma Vicki and Grandad, Uncle Chad, Aunt Dixie, JT (and Marni!!)
God bless you, little Audrey!
