Oh How the Time Flies!!

It has been such a long time since I last posted. We have been such a busy family! In October, we picked out the perfect pumpkins,

and went trick or treating (of course!)
In November, we celebrated Abby's birthday (and my own!), enjoyed family at Thansgiving, and Ben had his first Reconciliation.
Of course, we also cheered for our Aggies this fall.
In December, we have put up and decorated our Christmas tree.
Pulling out the ornaments always makes me nostalgic, but this year has been especially emotional...in a good way.
I am so incredibly blessed and thankful that Audrey is with us and about to celebrate her first birthday as well as her first Christmas at home.

Abby...our Lil 'Future Strutter'

Abby got to perform Friday night at halftime at the Fulton Football game.  She went to a dance camp last weekend, and the drill team has worked with the girls all week to get them ready.
Before we left for the game, we got her all dolled up.
All curled up for the night!

(She really enjoyed all the primping!!)
My two favorite girls...
At the game, she cheered with the jr. cheerleaders in the first quarter, then left with the Liberty Strutters (the Fulton drill team) to get prepped for the performance.
It was "White Out" breast cancer night at the game.  We all wore our white t-shirts and accented it with our pink bows.
And, here's the performance...

I'm just over the moon for that girl!!  :)

10 Months on 10/10

Our little Audrey Elizabeth is growing up!
She is 10  months old now and changing every single day.
She crawls like a natural.  Ben and Abby have had to learn quickly to pick up after themselves or else she will find their toys and stick them right into her mouth.  :)
She is the light in our lives, the joy in our hearts, and we cannot imagine what we ever did without her.

My Kiddos

Each of my children is perfect and wonderful in their own way.

Ben is the sweetest, most nurturing 8-year-old boy I have ever met...yet he is ALL boy.
This morning, after riding his bike in the post-rain puddles, he walked in the front door looking like this:
"I think I may need to change."

Abby is such an inquisitive, beautiful young lady.
She decided that once it started raining this afternoon, it would be a good idea to see how much of that rain she could collect and put into a bowl.  (Nevermind that she had to get soaking wet to accomplish this!)
"Mommy!  I'm doing SCIENCE!!"

Oh, my little Audrey.
She is slowly becoming her own person.  She is now crawling around the house like its nothing.  She is also pulling up on the furniture.  I'm sure she'll be walking VERY SOON.
Even with a cold (and a snotty little nose), she is all smiles.

My kiddos make me who I am.  I cannot imagine my crazy life without any of my three little miracles.
*sigh

First Grade Field Trip to the Arboretum

Abby and her class went to the Arboretum this week.
Duke got to go, too, to chaperone.
It was so beautiful outside, and I know they has a wonderful time!

Soccer!!

We added them up recently, and we realized that this is Ben's 8th season to play soccer!  He has been a Hornet for 6 of those seasons!
Saturday was a gorgeous day to watch Ben and the Hornets play some soccer.
Ben even got to play goalie this week, and he made a few AWESOME saves.
Audrey enjoyed herself at the game as well.
They ended up beating the Tigers (which is the team Ben's best bud, Nathan plays on.)
Way to go, Hornets!!
